1.Low-end market price-cutting situation
Because of the depreciate,now,the dominant price of low end digital camera is between 1500 to 2500.This price is for most people,more acceptable.
Recent research shows that in the time between april to July of 2008,in 1500-2000 prices of digital camera and prices in the 2000-2500 competed for the dominant price of the digital camera market in china.The former one occupied 30.1% of the proportion of the market,and the latter is 29.4%. Furthermore,the experts estimate that the price of 1500 to 2000 will lead the low end market.
2.high-end market price-cutting situation
Meanwhile,with the Beijing Olympics approaching,the concern of high end digital camera is increasing speedly. Many people want to use telephone digital camera to seize the wonderful moment of the athletes. So quite a few merchants catch business opportunities in the Olympic Games,and reduce the price of telephone digital camera to enhance the quanity of purchasing. The prices of some high end products reduce to 3000 to 5000.But the main concern to the high end camera is between 4000 to 6000.It owns 47.1% of the proportion of the high market.Besides the price under 4000 only occupied 14.7%.At the same time ,the higher price products own increasingly concern. Large numbers of consumers direct their attention to these products.So the degree of attention to the high end digital camera is upswing while the low end one is cutting down.Due to the high concern ,the depreciate extent of SLR digital camera is obviously higher than consumer digital one.The SLR dropped by 7.09 percentage points by the consumer dropped by 5.24 .
